THE TINY ONE DIED BEFORE BIRTH

Vistas of glorious light
Shone down from a window in heaven.
The light touched the brow of a mother
Who had just miscarried at seven.

The baby hadn't been born yet
The tiny one died before birth.
The dear little soul went to Heaven
He never lived on this Earth.

He's closer to being an angel
Than we who fight sin and shame.
Dear mother, the light is a message
The Book of Life has his name.

So, mother, don't worry or wonder
Your dear one is safe in His arms.
For Jesus loves little children
And they are drawn to His charms.
